Emily Carr University is comprised of an international community accustomed to thinking globally and acting locally. In line with this philosophy, the community is invited to help support Syrian refugees immigrating to the Vancouver Area. The university has established a restricted fund to coordinate donations from members of the university community. All funds raised will be forwarded to MOSAIC to provide Syrian refugees with settlement support.
Students, faculty and staff can contribute online using CanadaHelps (click on the button below), or donations may be made at the University Advancement Office. CanadaHelps will accept credit card and PayPal payments.
MOSAIC is a multilingual non-profit organization dedicated to addressing issues that affect immigrants and refugees in the course of their settlement and integration into Canadian society. MOSAIC provides advocacy, public education, community development, coalition building, and bridging with the broader community.
